Aqua NightsJW Marriott Desert Ridge

About This Show

What the Night Needed

The resort wanted shows that belonged to Aqua Nights: part of its summer programming, built around the series theme, and worth coming back for across the season.

How We Designed It

Each show followed the Aqua Nights summer theme and the resort’s programming for that night, so the designs changed across the series while the operation stayed the same. The series opened on May 22 with a Memorial Day–themed show.

Planning the Venue

We launched from the resort’s golf course, and guests watched from the courtyard and pool area. That kept the launch and flight area apart from the guests on every night of the series.

Every resort show starts with a full property walk with the resort’s team: where the show sits relative to guest viewing areas, where the launch area goes, and how the flight area is bounded.
