Terms of Service
Effective: January 1, 2025 · Last Updated: October 7, 2026
Service Description
Pulse Drones LLC, operating as Pulse Drone Light Shows ("Pulse"), provides custom aerial drone light show services, including creative design, choreography, permitting and airspace coordination, logistics, and show-day execution. Shows are performed outdoors after dark. All shows are custom-produced based on client-approved concepts and subject to the terms described in the individual service agreement provided at time of booking.
Booking and Payment
A signed service agreement and deposit are required to reserve your show date. The standard payment schedule is a 50% deposit, which secures the date and covers design, and a 50% final payment due before the show. Custom schedules can be arranged for municipal or enterprise clients. Dates are not considered confirmed until both the signed agreement and deposit have been received. Pulse reserves the right to release a hold date if the required documentation and payment are not received within the timeframe specified in the proposal.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits cover Pulse's costs and are typically non-refundable once design work begins. Refunds or credits may apply depending on timing. Specific cancellation terms are outlined in your service agreement and govern over the general language in this section.
Weather and Rescheduling
Drone shows require suitable conditions, which are assessed on a site-specific basis rather than against published thresholds. Pulse operates to hard weather limits, which are shared with the client in the planning deck, and monitors conditions in the days before every show. The pilot in command makes the final go/no-go decision on site; that discretion may stop a show within the limits but never overrides them. If conditions completely prevent a safe show, Pulse will work with the client to reschedule to the next available date so the client still receives the full experience, at no extra charge; weather-related rescheduling is always included. Safety is always the final decision driver. Force majeure events (including severe weather, natural disasters, or government-issued flight restrictions) are not grounds for client cancellation fees.
Intellectual Property
All creative work produced by Pulse (including storyboards, choreography files, formation designs, and animation sequences) remains the intellectual property of Pulse Drones LLC unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. Client-provided materials such as logos, brand assets, and design files remain the property of the client. Pulse retains the right to photograph, film, and share footage of completed shows for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless the client has requested confidentiality in writing prior to the show date.
Insurance and Liability Limitations
Pulse carries event-specific liability coverage of $5M or greater, included in every quote, and operates under all applicable FAA authorizations. Certificates of Insurance are available on request, naming venues or municipalities as additional insured. In the event of a show delay, partial execution, or cancellation due to circumstances within our control, our liability is limited to a pro-rated refund of fees paid, as outlined in the service agreement. Pulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a show delay or cancellation, including but not limited to costs incurred by the client in connection with the event.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate event information, ensuring the designated launch site is accessible and clear of obstructions on show day, and coordinating with the venue to accommodate our crew and equipment. Any changes to the event location, date, or audience configuration after the service agreement is signed must be communicated to Pulse immediately, as these changes may affect permitting, logistics, and pricing.
Full Agreement
These terms summarize the general basis on which Pulse engages clients. The full contract is available on request and includes scope, safety protocols, liability, and contingency terms. Where the signed service agreement and this page differ, the service agreement governs.
Governing Law
These terms of service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes arising under these terms or any associated service agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless both parties agree in writing to an alternative resolution method.
Modifications
Pulse Drones LLC reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking governs your engagement. For any questions about these terms, please contact us at info@pulsedrones.com.
