Compliance & Safety

Safety Engineered
into Every Show

Five systems keep a show inside its envelope, and one policy sits above all of them: we never fly over crowds or open roads. Safety is always the final decision driver; your team's job is to enjoy the show.

Safety Framework

Built Safe at Every Layer

◈

Geofencing

Each aircraft has its flight area defined in three-dimensional space, bounded by GPS that may be augmented by Real-Time Kinematic positioning.

⬡

Real-Time Telemetry

All aircraft positioning, flight states, and health telemetry are transmitted to the ground control station in real time, throughout the show.

◎

Automated Return-to-Home

If an anomaly is detected, visually or through telemetry, corrective action can be issued immediately, including an automated return to home.

✦

Redundant Positioning

RTK corrections travel over Wi-Fi plus a secondary 433/915 MHz channel, and every aircraft holds a continuous telemetry and control link to a centralized ground control station.

▣

On-Site Safety Officers

Trained ground crew secure the perimeter and scan for aerial hazards for the duration of the flight.

◉

$5M+ Liability Coverage

Event-specific liability coverage is included in every quote. Certificates of Insurance are available on request, naming venues or municipalities as additional insured.

Real-time telemetry monitoring — all flights
We never fly over crowds or open roads
Show Day

How the Call Gets Made

We work to hard weather limits, and we share those standards with you in your planning deck, alongside how they apply to your site. Here is how the decision is managed in the run-up to your show.

72+ hours beforeAirspace notices are filed for your show.
In the days beforeWeather monitoring before your show: we track conditions at your site against our limits and keep you updated as the forecast firms up.
6–8 hours beforeCrew arrives on site to stage equipment and set up. Pre-flight checks take 60–90 minutes of that time.
At launchThe pilot makes the final call on site. Pilot discretion can stop a show that is inside our limits, but it never overrides one.

If conditions completely prevent a safe show, we work with you to reschedule to the next available date at no extra charge. Weather-related rescheduling is always included.

Safety Questions

Common Questions

Yes, and the shortest version of why is that we never fly over crowds or open roads. Beyond that policy, five systems do the work: geofencing that bounds each aircraft in three-dimensional space, real-time telemetry to the ground control station, automated return-to-home if an anomaly appears, redundant positioning and comms, and on-site safety officers securing the perimeter and scanning for aerial hazards. Every show is flown by licensed pilots with site-specific safety planning, and we assess the site itself before the date.

Each aircraft holds a continuous telemetry and control link to a centralized ground control station, and positioning, flight states, and health data arrive in real time. If an anomaly is detected, visually or through telemetry, corrective action can be issued immediately, including an automated return to home. A drone in that state lands under control rather than falling. If a fault ever affected the safety of the show, we would stop it: safety is always the final decision driver, and we would work with you on rescheduling from there.

We work to hard weather limits, and on top of those the pilot makes a site-specific call: pilot discretion can stop a show that is inside the limits, but it never overrides one. We share the standards themselves in your planning deck rather than on a web page, because how they apply depends on your site. Weather monitoring starts in the days before your show, and we keep you updated as the forecast firms up. If conditions prevent a safe show, we work with you to reschedule to the next available date at no extra charge; weather-related rescheduling is always included. Safety is always the final decision driver.

Safe distances are set for each site, taking into account show scale, flight altitude, the launch area, and how your audience is laid out. We establish the safety perimeter as part of the site assessment and work with your venue team so the audience area is clearly defined. Final site plans are shared with you before the design phase begins, so you can see where the audience, launch area, and flight area sit before the show is built around them.
