Celebrate America
Without the Fire Risk

Custom patriotic drone light shows for July 4th — flag formations, fireworks silhouettes, and patriotic imagery, with no fire risk on the driest night of the year. We flew 300 drones over Mesa on July 4th, 2026.

Why July 4th Is Going Drones

Three Reasons It's Shifting

July 4th is the date most event planners ask us about first, and there are three reasons the format suits it so well.

Reason · 01

Burn Restrictions

July 4th falls in the driest, highest-risk part of the year across the Southwest, which is exactly when a fireworks display is hardest to justify. A drone show carries no fire risk at all: no open flame, no charge, no falling debris, so it stays viable when conditions make the alternative impractical.

Reason · 02

Noise

Residential development has encroached on virtually every traditional fireworks venue in major Southwest metros. The complaints generated by municipal fireworks programs have become a significant operational burden for city event teams. Drone shows produce a fraction of the noise of traditional pyrotechnics.

Reason · 03

The Show Itself

A drone show can display the American flag at altitude, animate a fireworks burst sequence without fire, render a bald eagle, spell out "USA", and close with a cascading star formation, all in one show of 11 to 14 minutes. The patriotic imagery is at least as effective as fireworks, and the content is more varied.

On the Record

300 Drones Over Mesa

On July 4th, 2026 we flew a 300-drone show for the City of Mesa. It is the largest show on our record, and the second time the city has booked us.

300 drones is the scale that fits the widest range of events. It is also where scannable QR codes become possible, on top of the minimal 3D formations that start at 200. A civic July 4th show is the hardest version of the job: a wide, mixed-age audience spread across a park, watching from every angle, on the one night of the year everyone already expects something in the sky.

Mesa is a repeat client across two very different nights: this one, and the student-designed Merry Main Street show in November. Being asked back is the part we would point a municipal buyer to.

Common Questions

July 4th FAQ

How far ahead should we book a July 4th show?

There is no fixed minimum. Tell us your date and we will look at what it needs: the venue, the creative scope, and any airspace or city approvals. July 4th is a peak date, which means two things: it carries higher pricing, and it fills earlier than an ordinary summer Friday. There is no deadline to beat; you just have more room on timing, scale, and design the sooner you reach out.

What about fire restrictions?

A drone show has nothing to burn: no open flame, no pyrotechnic charge, no falling debris, so the fire risk that makes a fireworks display hard to permit in a dry July simply is not part of the equation. What any particular jurisdiction allows is a question for that jurisdiction, and we confirm the regulatory context for your venue as part of the permitting we handle for every show.

What patriotic formations can you do?

Standard patriotic formation set includes: American flag, fireworks burst simulations, bald eagle silhouette, "USA" text, Statue of Liberty silhouette, star field patterns, and cascading star finale. Custom patriotic formations are available with sufficient design lead time.
