About This Show

What the Night Needed

Executive Council Charities wanted to add a new spectacle to Taste: something the event’s guests had never seen there before, built into the evening after dark.

Planning the Venue

Scottsdale Civic Center has two open bowls, and we used both. The show launched from the east bowl while Taste ran in the west bowl, so the launch and flight area stayed apart from the guests, who watched the show in the sky from the event itself without leaving it.

FAA authorizations, airspace coordination, and city permitting were handled as part of the show.

What the Client Said

Executive Council Charities called the show a big hit, and said guests asked for our contact information on the night. ECC’s stated goal is to bring the show back next year as a sponsorship. Wentworth Property’s David M. Brown called it “far better than anything I expected.”
